Two by Two

Multi Texture and Alpha applied to a Brush

Brushes now support dual alphas and textures, allowing you to transition between the two based on the pen pressure of your stroke. Create striking blends of color and detail with this versatile new feature!

Two-byTwo-01
Two by Two is excellent for quickly creating environments. Pen pressure allows for easy switching between the two alphas and textures.

How Two by Two Works

When two alphas and/or two textures are applied to a brush pen pressure will transition between them. Lighter pressure will use the Base Alpha/Texture and heavier pressure will use the Current Alpha/Texture.

Expert Tip!

Important Note: As varied pen pressure is essential, you may need to adjust the Brush>Tablet Pressure curves to get the results you want. Don’t forget that textures will be applied as polypaint – make sure Tool>Polypaint>Colorize and Draw>Rgb are turned on.
