Cloth Simulation

Cloth example

Soft body dynamic surface collision

Cloth is one of the most challenging surfaces to create in 3D. The folds and the way the cloth lies on a surface can challenge any artist’s ingenuity and talent. However, with cloth simulation and dynamic collision detection the process is made a whole lot easier. In fact, the process is actually made fun by the ability to control the effect through a simulation that can be stopped and restarted at any time, or by using the cloth brushes to affect the result directly.

A Dynamics palette (found in alphabetical order across the top of the screen) contains these features.
