Title Bar

The Title Bar is at the top of the interface. It shows information about ZBrush’s current state such as memory usage. Immediately below are the menu or palette buttons; clicking on a menu name will display that palette.

Below the menus is the NoteBar. This displays information about the current user action. This is particularly useful for Transpose if it is being used as a measuring device.

On the right-hand side of the Title Bar are various the QuickSave button and various interface controls.

QuickSave

Press the QuickSave button to immediately save the current Project as a QuickSave file. The save is immediate and no file name is asked for. QuickSave files can be located and loaded from the Lightbox Quicksave tab.

See-through

Adjust the slider to change the transparency of the whole ZBrush interface. This is useful if you want to work quickly from refernce material open in another program such as a Web browser.

Menus

Show or hide the interface menus.

DefaultZScript

Run the DefaultZScript. This will only have an effect if you have edited the script.

Previous/Next Interface Color configuration

Press to select a different set of interface colors.

Previous/Next Interface Layout configuration

Press to select a different interface layout.

Unlock

Should a zscript or plugin lock the interface, press this button to unlock.

Hide/Restore/Close

The standard program buttons for hiding or restoring the ZBrush window and closing the program.
