The Movie palette handles recording and playback of ZBrush Movies.
ZBrush Movies are recordings of ZBrush activity. For example, they are a good way to show how you sculpted a model, or display the finished result as a turntable. There are a number of options to how and what you can record, described below. And for more advanced options there is the Timeline.

The Snapshot button records an image of the ZBrush canvas, and adds it as a single movie frame at the current position.
TimeLapse
TimeLapse will recorded only when the mouse button is released. This will result in a much smaller file.
